HiriHideout is a small, friendly hostel in a quiet area of Hiriketiya, close enough to the waves but far from the noise. Guests share meals, stories, and trips together, creating a homely, social atmosphere without being a party hostel.
Our team runs a small in‑house restaurant serving breakfast and simple, tasty dishes throughout the day, along with fresh juices, coffee, and cold drinks. It is the kind of place where you can relax in the garden, plan your next surf session, or join others for a day trip along the south coast.

Located in a peaceful neighborhood in Hiriketiya, Sri Lanka, just a short 5‑minute walk from the beach. The hostel is perfectly placed for surfing, exploring the south coast, or simply relaxing between palm trees and rice fields.
From here, you can easily reach other nearby beaches, cafes, and restaurants, while still enjoying a quiet place to sleep and recharge

I was honestly pretty disappointed with my stay at HiriHideout. As others have mentioned, the hostel is very clean and well maintained, however there are definite security issues including no locks on the doors. The staff were quite helpful but i found the general atmosphere in the hostel a bit off as well. Location is pretty ideal however

Really lovely new hostel. Very clean. Very chill vibes (but this could also be the fact there aren’t any middle east flights currently so the whole area was quiet). The staff were so lovely. Air con in the 2 bed dorm but no window, although this didn’t bother us as we were never there in the day. Laundry service was very good.
