We're brand new! If you arrive in the coming months, you'll be one of the first guests at Xolo Hostel in a freshly renovated 1900s Mexican mansion. We can't wait to welcome you!

This house originally hosted the first hostel in Mexico City, and even though we're new with our renovation, we bring over 15 years of experience hosting travelers from all corners of the globe.

Without much pretense and with a focus on essential amenities, Xolo Hostel aims for maximum functionality. Your stay includes lockers, a towel, and a fully equipped kitchen. But most importantly, we strive to create a space where togetherness and community are the heart of the house. It's a hostel for open-minded Xolo travelers who embrace diversity in all its forms, passionate about exploring the city, sharing experiences, cooking together, and journeying with others. It works - does the job. But I found it quite uncomfortable. The showers are tiny and no space for your things. Water came out cold. Beds were squeaky. There was no drinking water at the time.

A wonderful hostel with the cutest cafe. The environment here is so lovely and the people are so welcoming. I also loved that it was situated on a quieter street, yet so close to all the nearby neighborhoods have to offer. It felt like a home away from home. I would definitely stay here again when I return to CDMX.
