Das Nest Hostel is a recently renovated rooftop loft apartment in the heart of Budapest, where you can experience real city life.
This district offers Budapest's most popular restaurants, cafes, bars, clubs, and shops.
Due to our central location, everything is reachable on foot, but if you feel like exploring a bit more than central Budapest, then public transportation is also easily accessible :)

We are a small, rustic, and homely hostel for 20 guests, with 6 bedrooms, 3 comfortable lounge areas, and a good-sized, well-equipped kitchen for any cooking activities.

Our staff is motivated, welcoming, and experienced in helping with all sorts of requests. They also have great taste in music. Don't miss out on our film nights in the loft!
We also have personal connections to several local bars, restaurants, life artists, and smaller festivals in Hungary to make your stay unforgettable and unique.

Note: We do not tolerate any kind of behaviour that is discriminatory, whether racial, religious, ethnic, or sexual.

And we don´t accept group bookings, especially stag parties! We want to keep the family vibe!

would recommend Das Nest - staff were friendly, beds comfortable, location ideal especially for nightlife. 1/3 showers was broken for the 5 nights we were there but otherwise facilities were clean and working. Common area/kitchen is cozy, big and equipped, but not super social. I’d note that there’s a smoking area in the loft so the place does smell like cigarettes sometimes and might be bothersome to some.

The place was okay but getting to it was a bit strange. Its on the 4th floor of an apartment complex and while the hostel itself if nice enough the rest of the apartment complex is rundown. We felt safe and it was fairly clean.
