Amsterdam Downtown Hotel Canal View is beautifully situated in the heart of the city center in the Leidseplein (Leidse Square) area. Leidseplein is the most famous nightlife area in Amsterdam. The location of the hotel is on a quiet, beautiful canal - the Leidsegracht.

We have shared mixed & private rooms that can accommodate: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7,8 and up to 10 persons. Each hallway has showers and WCs. Some rooms has private shower

Our hotel, set in a former 17th-century warehouse, has a cozy lounge facing the canal where one can relax and socialize and meet other fellow travelers. Next to the reception is a smoking room where you can find vending machines Free Wi-Fi is available.

The hotel is in an old monumental building with no elevators, just steep stairs (which are typical of all historical building in the city center).

The hotel is a few minutes from the famous Van Gogh Museum, beautiful Dam Square, the entertaining Red light district, relaxing Vondelpark, historical Anne Frank House and the best clubs, coffee shops, bars and restaurants and many more great places.

The staff can provide you with great ideas to spend your time in Amsterdam. If you're interested in renting a bike we're happy to assist you with this.

This hostel has put me off hostels for life. The room was tiny with 8 beds in it. The lockers are wooden and most don't even lock. They're also tiny, so people's things were just strewn across the floor. It was stuffy, my head was next to someones feet. Someone stole my rented towel. Ubereats delivery guys were staying in there longterm and were coming and going all night with no attempt of being quiet. I dont have anywhere near enough characters on this to list all my complaints, just stay away

I only stayed for one night during a very busy time, so I paid a lot of money to stay in a bed with a snorer. The lockers didn't hold locks, so I didn't want to keep my important stuff in the room. The location was great. If I wasn't in peak holiday prices, the value would have been way higher.
