Situated in a beautiful heritage building, right in the heart of Barcelona, the Alternative Creative Youth Hostel is the perfect base from which to enjoy the city and make the most of its incredible opportunities.
The hostel was created to offer safe accommodation especially to open-minded, adventurous travellers who come to Barcelona to experience the cities historic and artistic attractions. The Alternative Creative Youth Hostel is a friendly and cozy place where you can easily make friends with people from all over the world.
Our helpful and knowledgeable staff have lots of recommendations for you. We will tell you great places for live music and for real Spanish food. Some nights we will even take you out to the hidden spots of Barcelona ;-)
Please note that we are a FUN but not a PARTY hostel. We love to provide accommodation to people who come to Barcelona for a culture and leisure visit but not to those who plan to get wasted every night. We respect you and in exchange expect respect from you - towards your roommates, the staff and yourself! We do not want drunkards to spoil the atmosphere.

DIRECTIONS: There is no hostel sign in the street. Look up high for house number 17. When you found it, ring one of the GREEN bells with the “Hâ€.
AGE RESTRICTION: We only accept guests under the age of 18 if accompanied by an adult or with the parents’ authorisation. We do not accept guest older than 45. We reserve the right to refuse admission.
CANCELLATION POLICY: A cancellation free of charge must be done at least 48 hours before the 'Date' of arrival. If you do not show up for your reservation and do not contact us, we will charge the first two nights of accommodation cost to the credit card.
In case of cancellation on the same day of arrival on weekends or special events, we will charge the first two nights of your booking.
IMPORTANT: If you do not arrive at the indicated time, and do not inform us about a later arrival your booking will be cancelled at midnight.
For the safety of other travellers we can not accept any traveller with bed bugs bites. Please consider this before proceeding with your booking.
The city tax is not included in the price.
We normally have beds available for walk-ins.
