At Islander hostel, our GOAL is to make sure that our guests have an UNFORGETABLE island EXPERIENCE.
DO NOT TAKE A TAXI! The hostel is located in the center at Mae Haad, less than a two-minute walk from the main pier where you arrive by boat and just around the corner from the walking street that parallels Sairee Beach. . Koh Tao is a small island so even the farthest destinations are only a walk away or short motorbike taxi ride away.

Finsanity Dive School is situated at the hostel with the latest brand new diving equipments. We are using the facilities of a 5 star Resort, and we are taking you everyday in a NO STRESS zone and teach your course in the LUXURY classrooms and swimming pool. Our boat schedules are different from other dive schools and there is no 7am boat to wake up to, You are on vacation after all! We are committed to FUN and SAFETY. At Finsanity the word is 'SEAS THE MOMENT'!
OUR DORMS: We have very spacious AIR-CONDITIONED dorms with 10-12 beds each with access to two electric outlets for charging and for plugging in a night lamp. Each dorm is equipped with secured lockers. The mattresses are very COMFORTABLE. We have multiple HOT showers and toilets. And FREE WIFI. The area is quiet in the night for GOOD sleep.
Our BAR & RESTAURANT are super affordable for backpackers combining Thai and Western food and various drinks with daily HAPPY HOURS. We also offer FREE DRINKING WATER refills to reduce plastic waste.
FACILITIES: Come and meet fellow travelers in our spacious common areas. There is a central open patio covered by a tree canopy. There is a lounge chilling area with bean bags and a projector screen for movies. WIN great prices with our BEER PONG tournament and Killer Pool Tournament once a week. We have FREE pool table and HAPPY HOURS every night. We offer discounted activities like Thai boxing, cooking class, yoga, massage etc... We also sell travelling tickets, snorkel tour, DIVING COURSE. Whatever your interests are, let us know! We are here to help you get the best experience and connect you with the best things to do and not to miss whilst on Koh Tao.
Reservations: The reception and restaurant are open at 8am until 10 pm. Please email us if you plan to arrive after 6pm so we can save your reservation. Check-in time is 2pm - 7pm and checkout time is 11am. Once you check in, you need to pay for the balance due for the entire stay as booked with a security deposit that you will get back when check-out.
