Located by the Vasaparken Park in central Stockholm, this hostel offers brightly decorated rooms. Free Wi-Fi. Odenplan Metro Station is a 5-minute walk away.

The soundproofed rooms at Hostel Dalagatan have underfloor heating and either shared or private bathrooms. Bed linen is included in all rooms. Towels are included only for the private rooms.

Guests can prepare their meals and watch TV in the fully equipped guest kitchen.


Drottninggatan shopping street is 500 metres away. Stockholm Central Station is a 15-minute walk from Dalagatan Hostel.

Some of the people in the hostel are really dodgy and there was a Person watching me whilst I slept in the female only dorm, staring at me whilst I was in the room and following me around. As a solo traveler I was really scared and couldn't sleep because of that.

I had a terrible experience at this hostel. I was locked out of the property for the entire night because nobody answered the door or the emergency contact number. I called more than 10 times and received no response at all, forcing me to sleep outside on the street. What makes it even worse is that, two days later, they still haven’t replied to my email or acknowledged what happened. The complete lack of customer service and responsibility is unacceptable. THe hostel itself is in a great location only 10 mins walk from the man shopping street and 30 mins from gamla stan. The hostel had a large kitchen area but was missing a kettle and had two male (members of staff ??) in there at all times who were odd. The rooms where clean and cleaned every morning but due to the lack of windows and ventilation it had a constant musty smell and it was not enough for the people in the room. The staff were all lovely and helpful but it has no community aspect.
