About

Welcome to The ASH – Antwerp
Arrive as a guest. Leave as family.

Welcome to The ASH Antwerp — a social, young and home-like hostel right in the heart of Antwerp, Belgium. Since opening our doors in 2013, we’ve been welcoming backpackers from all over the world and bringing them together under one roof.
At The ASH, family is at the centre of everything we do. We believe a hostel should feel like a shared home: a place where stories are exchanged, friendships are made, and you always feel welcome. Our international team is made up of travellers just like you, so we understand what you need, what you’re looking for, and sometimes even what you forgot to pack.
Whether you’re staying for one night or a little longer, you’ll arrive as a guest… and leave as part of the ASH family.

Rooms & comfort
We offer modern, well-designed accommodation to suit every kind of traveller:
Dormitories ranging from 3 to 8 beds
Private double or twin rooms for couples or friends
Premium rooms for guests who enjoy a little extra comfort and privacy

All rooms are clean, comfortable and practical, designed with a modern touch and the social traveller in mind. Whether you choose a dorm bed or upgrade to a premium stay, you’ll always enjoy the same warm ASH welcome.

I only stayed for one night, but unfortunately hadn’t a good experience staying at the ASH. I found the rooms to be really small and the beds felt rather cheap as they are really wobbly and loud when someone is climbing on the upper bed. Laying in bed, my whole body felt itchy :/ The bathroom wasn’t clean and shower and toilet are in one room, which is a little bit annoying in a dorm for 6. Outside of the dorm, the kitchen looked clean with two refrigerators and the staff is friendly :)

En-suite Shower could use some cleaning of mold, other than that it was a great place!

Great hostel but the bunk beds should be fixed on the ground, because if you are on top you will shake at every turn of the person on the bottom, besides the risk of the bed turning when u are climbing up or down. but besides that everything is great
