The Surf Ranch Hotel is located in Tamarindo, Costa Rica, right in front of the main surf break & beach in Tamarindo.

The hotel consists of 9 high end rooms with all of the amenities, outdoor shower, courtyard lounge area, surfboard racks, front desk reception and our indoor Cafe 13 with air con, and where you will receive free breakfast and also 15% off all other food and drink orders.

The place was great. Felt safe and wasn’t loud. Very clean. However, the free breakfast was hardly ever open. There were no TV, only fridge.

Booked a standard double , was not a double bed was actually 2 twin beds. Doesn't say that in the posting. TV in the room didn't work properly, wifi was spotty and slow. Every single day there would be loud staff doing maintenance right outside the door. I had to ask them 3 different morning to turn down the music as we're trying to sleep. Never had any of our bedding or towels changed the entire week.
