The absolute worst night of my life. Upon arrival the owner requested nearly double the advertised price. The room itself was dirty. THE WORST PART WAS SECURITY AND SAFETY. Someone failed to lock the gate to the hostel which resulted in someone knocking on our private asking us to come out. We proceeded to hear people walking past our room and stopping in front of our door. There was no number online to contact the owner for safety purposes. Owner did not take responsibility or have sympathy.

Convenient location, about 5 min from the beach and 2 min from the grocery store. Coffee is always on! Mots and Susan, his wife, are the owners and both are friendly and accommodating. Two hammocks in the open air courtyard are great for drowsing in the afternoon or evening breeze. The kitchen is well-equipped with two fridges for guests and a gas stove. It is kept spotlessly clean. My mattress had just the right amount of firmness. I enjoyed my stay!

Terrible place. Reception dude was about 100 years old and very rude. I pre-booked the place and when I got there he said he didn't have any idea about me. I even have him booking reference and everything but he just kept saying he had nothing on me, yet he didn't even check.
