I have never stayed anywhere where I struggled to sleep because I genuinely did not know if I was safe. The hostel is absolutely grim, very unclean, I'm not even convinced the sheets had been changed after the previous guest. If you are a woman thinking about booking to stay here, DON'T. It has a very sketchy vibe. Other than that, a door leading out onto a roof that anyone could easily fall off of, the abysmal state of the place & the grotty pub downstairs filled with awful men..DON'T BOTHER.

I am extremely disappointed with my stay at this hostel. The cleanliness was unacceptable, and the noise from the bar downstairs continued throughout the entire weekend until the early morning hours, making it almost impossible to sleep. I did not see anyone at the reception, and I was checked in by another person who had access to the hostel’s system through a laptop. Great people, very friendly, messed up our booking, it took 3 times to get the right beds when we finally got to the room the music from the bar was too loud, some of the guests kept coming back and forth very drunk, and when they eventually settled down to sleep they were snoring all night, while other guys were on the phone talking all night, I think I managed to sleep for 2 hours tops, and we had to leave asap, as it was unbereable. I would not recommend.
