I understand that for the price you can't expect much, and that's fine, but there should at least be a minimum level of cleanliness in the rooms. The mattress was far from clean and full of dust mites, which gave me a rash, so I won't be coming back. The only good point was that they allowed me to leave my luggage for a short while before leaving, but I definitely won't be returning.

The door is usually unlocked, the staff are rude or unwilling to help. They lie about having luggage storage (It's just one guy sitting with your luggage, who leaves frequently). The lockers are not free they are paid, and for 10 euros you get a locker that when an item is placed atop opens from the top! So while in Rome your items are never safe here. There were also bedbugs, and when I showed a video to the staff he accused me of being a scammer (I'll upload the photos to a Google review).

The hostel was underwhelming. The space needs some proper care and renovation. Many things are poor quality, semi-broken or/and unclean. There's no key to lock your door, and the bathrooms lack comfort. Kitchen is underequipped and unclean too. There's a balcony but it's hard to enjoy with the constant traffic right under. The night sleep is therefore loud too. The space has potential, the staff is kind, but needs some urgent care and housekeeping. Until then I wouldn't come back.
