the cleanliness was disappointing. The kitchen was quite dirty, and my room wasn’t properly cleaned when I arrived. The bin was full, and there are signs saying to let reception know if extra cleaning is needed. I did exactly that, and they assured me it wouldn’t be a problem. Unfortunately, after two days, nothing had been done. I ended up leaving without the room ever being cleaned, and I even found a cockroach in the room. Sadly, that wasn’t very surprising given the overall level of cleanlin

The staff was nice but the rooms where very small and it was stuff everywhere so I could barely fit my bag anywhere. Also did not have guard rails or ladder to my top bed. Did not use the kitchen. I also arrived late on a Saturday so maybe that was not the best time. It was fine for one night

There didn’t seem to be a clear quiet hour policy. Even after 10:00 pm, the hostel was very noisy, with guests talking and shouting loudly. While I understand it’s a big hostel, it would be nice to have more consideration for people trying to rest. The location was convenient, and the bed was okay, although it was quite squeaky.
