Old Town Kanonia Hostel and Apartments

Location, staff replies via email, and vibes overall were fantastic! Directions to get to the hostel were super clear and had no issues in the room we were given. Only thing was that ceiling fans were advertised on the site, which our room did not have (could see this being an issue in summer time- but I booked during May and heat was fine at night with windows open). Also the private bathroom is a concern if you have older folks in your party or have knee issues.Not ADA friendly if used to that

Clean and great location, but we were expecting to have a kitchen or a kitchenette in the apartment and we ended up having only a fridge, a microwave and a kettle (with cutlery and plates). A sink where to clean the dishes wouldn’t bother!

Hot water was an issue - got about 30 seconds before it would go to luke warm. Accomodation also says they have washing facilities but the one in our building was inside an apartment where the guests hadn’t checked out, so we had to use one in another building. We couldn’t leave the machine or we’d get locked out, so it felt like a bit of a waste of a morning as we had to wait with the machine until we were done. Apartments were funky and in a great location.
