This place was in a decent location, only about a mile from king street, but there are many issues with this property - the building is OLD, and not updated at all. It was also not the cleanest. - the “free breakfast” was just packets of oatmeal (with only the raisin flavor left) - there was very little socializing at this hostel, and 0 social events - there is no staff there at night, and when I talked to someone at check in she gave me a smartass answer and did not help me

Pretty good hostel with great location, free coffee, sufficient kitchens, and decent beds. 2 of 4 burners were not working on one of the stoves in the private room building, which was a little goofy. Private rooms are in a separate location (Annex) than dorms, so keep that mind if that is relevant to you. Overall, I had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend staying here.
