Indopurejoy House

Got placed in the incorrect room so requested a move which may explain the issues faced, but seemed the room hadn’t been lived in in a long time: all taps ran out black water/gunk for a minute after first use, the toilet didn’t flush & no hot water. Staff are nice but speak very little English so couldn’t communicate this to them. The wifi didn’t reach the room & no access to the safe or soap/toilet paper/towels as promised. But this could just be because they unexpectedly moved our room?

I never give bad reviews, but in this case I had to. Firstly, when I arrive there, they put me in Komala Indah instead, which is fine with me though. Then the room I received was quite dirty. Sheets has stains on them and bathrooms weren't cleaned either.

Bed was comfortable, lots of mosquito, no air conditioner, locker on first come first serve basis, limited power plugs for charging - some just not functioning ok. Bathroom's need more cleaning. Overall, its a pretty basic hostel and very laid back, chill out hostel. Thank you, Bernie :) for the warm welcome, hospitality and dinner + performance every night. I had a great time here.
