We booked a deluxe twin room for two people. They gave us a king bed instead. They cited this being a “translation” issue. Thy refused to honor our booking request despite it being very clear we had booked two separate beds, and did not attempt to acknowledge the error or make any concessions. Would not recommend the hostel due to poor manager service.

Decent kitchen but can’t use until 11am. Photos are a little bit catfish-y and don’t show the dorm view is facing loud busy street. Nice terrace with hammocks. If you’re not looking to party every night / hoping to sleep, I wouldn’t recommend as dorms are metres away from towns nightclubs/bars. Only three toilets and two showers for all the dorms.

I honestly thought this was not a nice hostel (especially for its rating on here). It’s got a good location near the centre of San Pedro and a nice common balcony. It is directly opposite a big bar so don’t expect silence. I didn’t find it to be particularly social so if you’re a solo traveler it wouldn’t be my first recommendation. I think what was the biggest give away was the staff. While friendly I found them to be not helpful and quite dismissive.
