Barbatuke will charge the 'Pending balance' of your reservation on the credit card provided to Hostelworld. In case the card is rejected, Barbatuke will contact you to complete the payment using another method. If it is not possible to contact you 48h after the card has been rejected, the property can cancel your reservation or offer you to pay upon arrival by cash.

Over 20 mosquito bites on the first night alone!! There was no AC so windows were open (29 degrees) this let mosquitoes in. There was a tiny loud fan, did nothing. Instructions for entering the property were VERY UNCLEAR! we were told to find the key in a lock box somewhere, the key was inside the building with the cleaner…. The next day AC miraculously arrived, mosquitos stayed. Location, roof and kitchen is lovely. It has potential, just the wrong people running it. Cleaner/hostess was great

Cheap but unsafe and poorly maintained. Unbearably hot!!! The fan supplied doesn’t circulate air and is noisy. The bathroom floods. The beds are awful - warped metal frames that shake with any movement. The AC (selective rooms only) is broken, no window screens, and the rooms have a mosquito infestation. I was bitten over 100 times! There’s no privacy, lockers, and the door was regularly left open. People loiter outside blasting music, and try to peer into bedroom windows. Horrific experience!!!
