Great relaxed sociable hostel, felt very comfortable and the owner/volunteers were super helpful with recommendations. Good board higher available and close to good surf beaches. Would benefit from a touch up of the toilets and showers (no soap, often no loo roll and most the doors were broken) and a few more bits of crockery in the kitchen.

The hostel has lots of potential, but just isn’t taken care of properly. The kitchen, bathrooms, showers and the dormitories were quite dirty and did not get cleaned even close to enough. There was trash under my bed when I arrived until I left, showing that they hadn’t cleaned the floors once in 4 days. There’s no running water in the kitchen. I get that it’s a rural area and I’m not expecting water and electricity to be perfect, but at least tell your guests how to get around shortages.
