El Tumbo

The hostel has lots of potential, but just isn’t taken care of properly. The kitchen, bathrooms, showers and the dormitories were quite dirty and did not get cleaned even close to enough. There was trash under my bed when I arrived until I left, showing that they hadn’t cleaned the floors once in 4 days. There’s no running water in the kitchen. I get that it’s a rural area and I’m not expecting water and electricity to be perfect, but at least tell your guests how to get around shortages.

Great place to stay, very lovely people, rooms are a bit hot even with the fans. But other than that it’s a good time

Stayed jn thks hostel for 4 nights, the place is very dirty with sand all over the showers, the kitchen is never cleaned, the rooms are extremely hot and you havw to pay extra for air conditioning which they don't say in the listing, the manager came into my room shouting and drunk in the middle of the night which is unacceptable, I can reccomend avoiding this hostel at all costs and stay in the monkey house instead
