Pranee Bungalow Koh Tao

I don’t know where to start. I’ve never experienced anything as horrific as the showers and toilets before and I hope I never do again. The rooms felt like a prison although the beds weren’t awful but curtains would be nice. Me and my friend were split into separate rooms, which happened to many other groups too. However, the location is perfect, right on the beach with a nice chill out area, it was manageable for a few nights if you’re on a budget.

Overall... you get what you pay for. We booked a 6 person room for our group and they split us up. Even though the other people in our rooms were also together and split up!? There was also some confusion about two people staying in the room they had no idea about?? Never saw a pool...?? It's a pretty meh hostel, the bed are low grade, and not very clean. If you can stay somewhere else I would. We left after one night. Sorry.

not surprised there were no pictures of the showers on the website. the area by the beach is lovely. staff were pretty unhelpful and no curtains on the bed. still had a great stay in koh tao though regardless
