Pranee Bungalow Koh Tao

This place is class. It’s right on the beach, has a big pool, super chilled vibes. I stayed one night in the dorms which were clean and had good aircon, the bathrooms were always clean too. I extended in the private rooms I got given fresh water bottles every day, the aircon again was really good and they’re right next to the pool. The food in the cafe is all western but it’s decent and the staff are friendly. Close to town, but far enough away to not hear the music at night if you wanna chill

Honestly I don’t know why this place has such bad reviews!! We booked it either way because we wanted to give it a try and we ended up staying 6 nights here. The location is incredible, directly on the beach, with a pool and only a 5 min walk to 7/11 and all the bars etc. The rooms are also clean, not the newest but it does the job. I read a lot of people complaining about the bathrooms but tbh it wasn’t that bad and just can just choose the best between the different toilets and showers.

I don’t know where to start. I’ve never experienced anything as horrific as the showers and toilets before and I hope I never do again. The rooms felt like a prison although the beds weren’t awful but curtains would be nice. Me and my friend were split into separate rooms, which happened to many other groups too. However, the location is perfect, right on the beach with a nice chill out area, it was manageable for a few nights if you’re on a budget.
