This was a great hostel overall in my opinion. The location is basically right next to JR Namba, so trains are quite accessible. If you're not averse to walking you can get to Dotonbori in ca. 15 minutes and Shinsekai and Umeda in 40-50 minutes each. The staff are prettu chill and easy to talk to. Checking in and out is not complicated at all either. Only points I deduct are that both rooms I stayed in smelled a little musty, despite looking clean and the bidet on the 5th floor didn't work.

The room and bathrooms were pristine, probably one of the cleanest I've seen in a hostel. Excellent location, friendly staff, only thing that could be improved is adding hooks in the rooms and improving internet reliability on the property.

By far the worst hostel I have stayed at in Japan, and probably any other country. Mould in the aircon, rooms not cleaned properly. Staff were nice is the only positive.
