Tribes is a brand-new, upscale, medium-sized hostel, ideally located in the heart of Rhodes city centre.
We’re just:
100 meters from the Medieval Old Town
100 meters from Mandraki Harbour, where all daily boat excursions depart
50 meters from top shopping brands like Zara, H&M, Frisbee, Bershka, and more
Whether you're here to explore, relax, or work remotely, Tribes offers a stylish, central, and affordable base.

🛏️ Accommodation
We can host a total of 26 guests in 5 comfortable dormitories:
2 x 8-bed mixed dorms
2 x 4-bed dorms
1 x 2-bed private dorm

Our facilities include:
6 showers, 7 bathrooms, and 7 sinks
Female-only dorms, as well as separate female-only showers and bathrooms
Private storage lockers under every bed
Air conditioning throughout the hostel

Clean bedsheets and towels upon request
Bedsheets: €5
Towels (pair): €3
Washing service: €8 per bag (approx. 5 kg of clothes)
Luggage storage

We strive to keep Tribes peaceful, clean, and welcoming for everyone.
No smoking anywhere inside the building
No drug use or intoxicated guests allowed – we reserve the right to refuse access to anyone who violates this
Low-noise environment – we value respectful and calm stays for all guests

💳 Payment & Cancellation
Payment on arrival – cash, credit, or debit cards accepted
Taxes €2 per person per night
Cancellation policy: Free cancellation up to 60 days before arrival
Late cancellations or no-shows: charged the first night’s stay

Would not recommend. On my second day we were unable to enter the hostel because the spare key was stolen, only half a dozen guests had their own key and the door was also often open leaving no security for possessions. There were rarely staff in, making check-in for a number of people impossible and a number of other guests never saw staff. The toilet roll ran out on several days because only 1-2 would be put in a bathroom, and the dirt on the floor made it clear mopping was never done.

Toilet paper was out both nights, services are only active for 3 hours a day, no spare keys for anyone from management Other than that for the price it’s a great deal, and in a great location Just a couple kinks to be worked out as I was told it’s a relatively new hostel

I had an amazing stay at Tribes Upscale Hostel in Rhodes — the location is unbeatable, just steps from the Old Town, Mandraki Harbour, and all the main shops. The design feels modern yet cozy, and the sunny common room / book bar was perfect for relaxing or catching up on work. Everything was clean, the dorms comfortable, and the air conditioning a lifesaver after exploring in the hot sun. The staff were friendly and helpful — overall a stylish, convenient and good-value base for discovering Rhodes.
