This is a warm and welcoming place where you can relax and feel at home after your travels. The name Emi means “smile” in Japanese — and we hope your stay here brings you many of them.
Our guesthouse is a traditional Japanese home, offering an authentic experience of everyday life in Japan. You’ll feel like you’re visiting a friend’s house, with a cozy and friendly atmosphere waiting for you.
We are located between two popular areas:
the Nikko heritage and nature area — home to Nikko Toshogu Shrine and Lake Chuzenji — and the Kinugawa Onsen hot spring area. After a day of exploring, come back and enjoy meeting other travelers from around the world.
