YYZ hostel doesn’t exist anymore from what I understand. We arrived at the location and there was just a small paper on the door saying that the hostel is on a different address (same street). We arrived and the sign said Zen Hostel. It turned out to be the same owner (probably). The pictures are not real at all tough. YYZ hostel has 4,5 stars on the google - thats what we booked and we got zen hostel with 2 stars. Super different level. Staff is nice and helpful but I dont recommend it!

If booking through HostelWorld, DON’T. Got all the way to the hostel and the guy at the door said they didn’t have record of my booking (even with my booking confirmation email) and said they didn’t have beds available before shutting the door. The loss of my upfront wasn’t as annoying as trying to find a hostel on a busy Saturday night short notice.

Forget the pictures, it's a very dirty and old 2 bedroom apartment with some beds and one bathroom. I cleaned the bathroom so I could use it. Only stayed 2 nights and couldn't wait to check out. Only in Toronto for a quick project. I wouldn't recommend it.
