Summary of traveller reviews

Toronto YYZ Hostellerie offers a central location but recent guests report significant issues with check-in, misleading photos, and a lack of reception, leading to discomfort and a feeling of it being unsafe, especially for solo female travellers.

If booking through HostelWorld, DON’T. Got all the way to the hostel and the guy at the door said they didn’t have record of my booking (even with my booking confirmation email) and said they didn’t have beds available before shutting the door. The loss of my upfront wasn’t as annoying as trying to find a hostel on a busy Saturday night short notice.

Forget the pictures, it's a very dirty and old 2 bedroom apartment with some beds and one bathroom. I cleaned the bathroom so I could use it. Only stayed 2 nights and couldn't wait to check out. Only in Toronto for a quick project. I wouldn't recommend it.

so, the pictures are all fake. the place is falling apart; there's mould in the ceiling in the shower. there's bedbugs and. there's only one bathroom for 10ish people. there are way better places around the city for the same price
