Hostel Vila H

Not recommended. The advertised AC and Wi-Fi were unusable. The Wi-Fi password was correct, but it kept loading and never connected. Since the daytime temperature reached 29°C, the room was still quite stuffy in the evening. When I went downstairs sweating to ask for the AC remote, the owner said it was too cold and AC is apparently only allowed above 30°C. This should be stated on the listing. My bed was by the window, and I woke up with 10+ mosquito bites on my arms and legs. Crazy!

Didn’t like the location of the hostel, I arrived late because my bus was late and they gave an entire lecture about how grateful I had to be because they make me a favor for allowing me to stay despite the hour of my arrival (11:00 pm). The wifi is awful and does not work properly, the beds are not the best, a bit small but clean. The rooms are quite warm and they do not turn on the AC if it is not above 30 C. For the money is okay for a 1 or 2 nights but not more than that.

Great value for money stay. The hosts are very warm and sociable people who are great to have interesting discussions with. The rooms are also very clean and comfortable though if you are a light sleeper the creaky floorboards may bother you. The outside space is a lovely quiet place to relax in. I will definitely be returning!
