Check-in Problem: I arrived 19:00, but the reception was closed. I called reception four times with no response. I waited in a hot hallway for over 40 minutes. A passing guest helped me get indoors. When the employee finally arrived, she asked why I hadn’t called, despite my missed calls being recorded. She apologized and gave me a towel, but this did not make up for the lost time. Hygiene: The bedding was damp and unpleasant. Safety: The locker in the room has a key, but there was no key.

The location of this hostel was ideal. However, myself and my friend were backpacking, and felt so uncomfortable during our stay here. The people staying here were almost all over 60, and seemed to be living there. I was sharing a bunk with an old woman who shook the bed and talked to herself all night- I ended up falling asleep at 6am. Hostel receptionist initially told me there was nothing he could do about it, and thats what being in a hostel is like! Wouldn’t recommend for young backpackers.

The location of the Hostel is convenient and the staff was friendly. The interior seems relatively new, but it is not very clean. The bunk beds are very shaky and there wasn't a locker for everyone in the room. Only the lower bunk beds had curtains. Some people didn't clean up after themselves and were watching videos on volume at night. The AC didn't seem to be working in my room and there was a damaged window which was patch up with some tape so no glass shards would fall down.
