Great location very close to centro and bus station. The host was very friendly and welcoming. Offered map, help booking tours, etc. My room was clean, spacious, with warm soft bed. Extra star for the cat that lives there :)

Excellent location, kind staff, clean and comfortable dorms. The beds were super comfy with unbelievably soft sheets, everything felt quite new. Breakfast included was good. It was very quiet (I’m not sure why more people aren’t staying here as it’s a lovely hostel). I was told the dog was friendly but it barked and growled which put me off using the garden.

On the final day 2500 pesos were stolen from the dorm room. There was no support or sympathy and I felt really violated. The property itself is someone's home. It had been full on the first night even though I had booked an all female dorm, so I was invited into the owners room to sleep in a bunkbed there which felt uncomfortable. Everyone left the next morning, so I was moved to a dorm, where only one other person stayed. The owners friends were often over and there was no lock on any of the rooms or a locker, which made the place feel unsafe. It's such a shame that the lacl of safety turned out to be founded, as I'm never usually focused on 'security' in a hostel. It's not nice to feel distrustful and violated in this way! There's lovely breakfast every morning, and location is handy, but I would recommend a more secure hostel (and many with rooftops have incredible sunsets also!)
