Welcome to Hive Hostel Ella – a social backpackers hostel built for travellers who love meeting people from all over the world. Surrounded by nature and just minutes from Ella's famous hikes, waterfalls, cafés and town centre, it's the perfect place for adventure during the day and great company in the evenings.

Hive Hostel is all about connection, community and unforgettable travel experiences.
Whether you're travelling solo or with a few friends, you'll quickly become part of the Hive family. We encourage guests to join activities, share travel stories, have dinner together and make new friends from around the world.
If you're looking for a quiet place to work all day, keep to yourself or avoid socialising, we may not be the best fit. But if you're excited to meet amazing people and create unforgettable memories, you'll feel right at home.
Travelling as a group?
To keep Hive a truly social hostel, we sometimes adjust room allocations for group bookings of 4 or more guests. This helps us maintain a balanced mix of travellers and creates more opportunities for everyone to connect.
your group may be accommodated together in our 8-bed mixed dorms instead of a 6-bed dorm.Your group will always stay together—we simply change the dorm size when necessary.This only applies to mixed dorm bookings, Female Dorm bookings are never affected.
Hive is not a party hostel—but we're definitely the most social one in Ella!
You'll also be sharing the hostel with our two friendly dogs and our resident cat. And if you're lucky, you might even spot monkeys swinging through the garden!

Every bed includes premium, comfortable bedding, a personal locker, reading light and power socket (adapters are available if needed).
• All Dorm rooms are Air-conditioned!

We're just a short walk from Ella Train Station and Right next to the main Bus stop!
There are a few stairs instead of a lift—but think of it as your first little adventure before reaching your bed. 😉
