Hive Ella Hostel

Gihan (the owner of the hostel) made the people in the hostel becoming a family. Especially when travelling alone this was absolutely amazing. I really enjoyed the cooking class and other activities we were doing together. I felt really welcome and safe :-) I would definitely come back!

Hive was a nice retreat from the Ella high street, while being central the hike up to the hostel separates you a bit. The breakfast was good, and the seating area was nice. There was a good vibe and games available. Happy for a female dorm, thought found it quite moist but otherwise I was comfortable here.

Really great hostel - good social atmosphere, nice rooms, good location close to the centre but just set back enough to feel peaceful. Gihan does a great job of organizing activities, and was really helpful when I lost my wallet. Definitely recommend.
