SURA erbjuder enkelt, avslappnat, bekvämt och prisvärt boende i stadens centrum. Vandrarhemmet ligger 5 minuters promenad från centrum, inom 500 meter från vandrarhemmet finns det viktigaste busstationer att resa runt Costa Rica. Alla rum i SURA har egna badrum. De flesta av rummen har tillgång till sitt eget utanför sittande terrass. SURA har en trädgård och ett utomhusområde där du kan njuta. Gratis te, kaffe och mineralvatten hela dagen ingår i rumspriset. Värdeskåp i receptionen för värdesaker är gratis. Gratis sängkläder, sängar, lakan och handdukar ingår i priset. Gratis höghastighets-wi-fi finns också, och vi har ett fullt utrustat kök för gratis gästanvändning. SURA är ett ganska socialt vandrarhem men inte en fest. Det finns 24-timmars reception med personer som arbetar på skrivbordet som är kunniga och hjälpsamma för dina möjliga behov, önskemål och frågor.

The hostel and rooms themselves are very cute, clean, and comfortable, but the location is iffy. San Jose is a central city that allows access to a lot of Costa Rica via nearby bus terminals and the Airport. However, this hostel is also a short walk from the Coca-Cola terminal, which is known for having a high number of incidents. As such, I would NOT walk outside of this hostel alone, specifically at night (after 5 pm). There was also a loud, continuous thudding noise that wouldn't stop during the night

It's a pretty good place. Clean with a comfortable bed and warm water in the shower. Like all older buildings there is not much sound proofing so I could hear everything that goes on in the building or in the room next to me. One negative for me was when I paid for the room they used a high exchange rate so it was a higher cost than I expected.
