Had a great stay here over day of the dead, staff are very friendly and accommodating. Large clean rooms and toilet/shower. Felt very safe and secure here. The street itself on is loud at night but this may have been because of the festivities.

Prepared to climb 48 stairs to the 3rd floor rooms. Breakfast is terrible. 10/12 days I ate next door at the bakery. Coffee is rewarmed from the night before, usually still not hot at 8:30. They refused to give me some milk for my coffee 6 minutes early. When I complained about it the manager scolded me. The water they provide tastes like dirt. There’s no social aspects at all. No activities, no free dinner as posted. The attached restaurant has terrible food not cooked as I asked and overpric

My first hostel I stayed at was amazing! This is a very old building so there were a few technical issues but they were always swiftly resolved by the staff. I felt welcomed from the very start and I thank George for all his efforts and patience. This is a genuine hostel with amazing staff and yummy breakfast served to you ever morning. I felt appreciated here and would love to some back. My only issue was I wish there were curtains on the doors.
