Cataleya Hostel offers FREE coffee and tea throughout the day for all our guests! :)

Our amenities include a reception desk, a spacious and well-equipped shared kitchen on the ground floor, and a variety of room options: two private double rooms with Queen beds and ceiling fans, a private room with A/C and a King bed, and two mixed dorms with A/C and private bathrooms. For your entertainment, we have a mini cinema room with a popcorn machine and smart TV. Step outside to our beautiful terrace, complete with hammocks and a picnic table, to relax and enjoy the fresh air.

The hostel is small (only two dorms and a few private rooms) but because of this it’s very familiar. There are almost more volunteers than other people, they are all very welcoming and friendly. It is very social. The terrace is also great and the location as well (only a few minutes from the center). You should probably bring your own spices, because although it has a kitchen, there ist no food everyone can use. Overall I loved starting there and I would definitely come back ☀️🫶🏽

Wow! We loved our staying at ‘cataleya’ hotel! First of all - the location. Really excellent, about 4 minutes walk from the Main Street, quiet street, never had any trouble sleeping :) Second, the staff - Mariela always choose great volunteers to help her out and she was amazing! Loved her and kept in touch even after we left. Mariela also have tours from her hostel and they have a discount. Really recommend:))) Love you Maru!

It may be cheap but it’s disgusting. I don’t think they have cleaned in months, the dorm rooms smelt like urine, the showers were clogged and taps had no running water. I asked the employee for a bed sheet as my bed did not have one and after looking for a while he handed me one which I was then told may another guest that he removed the used one from his own bunk and gave it to me. It states it’s Air conditioned but a fan would have worked better, it was cooler outside
