The hotel is situated only two minutes from the Sloterdijk train station, and only a few minutes by train from the airport. The rooms are comfy, clean and affordable; all you'll need for a stay in Amsterdam.

You can find the MEININGER Hotel Amsterdam City West in the neighborhood of Sloterdijk which is part of the larger Westpoort district. Our hotel is conveniently located close to the Sloterdijk train station. From there, it is only one train stop to reach the Central Station and 10 minutes to Schiphol airport. Everything is at the tip of your fingers.

Very rude at check in and no one wanted to serve us and book us in. We had to pay an extra charge to the hostel which was t stated when I booked. The doors in the room should be lockable from inside too

This was a great place to stay: very clean, new facilities, felt a lot like a hotel (free towels, soap, etc), and right next to a train station so convenient to get to the city center and airport. I had to take a few virtual work meetings while I was there, and the conference room on the main floor was perfect for that (it was quiet and the WiFi worked well). The only downside is that it was difficult to meet people because there were mostly groups and I only met one other solo traveler during my 4-day stay
