Nice spot, very relaxed atmosphere and at least when we were there it was nice because it wasn't full so it felt like there was a little more space to breath than our previous Chile hostels

The kitchen never had anything clean. beds were made out of pallets, everyone haf back pain, people living in parts of the compound and they claim to have 3 bathrooms all were gross but 2 of them were covered in black mold and rust. employees n people living there would not even use them so you really hve 1 bathroom for everyone! It was the loudest place i have ever been to and all night. It is a small place and they have 3 different musics blairing and the employees are screaming all night

Rather convenient location near El Morro & easy walk to the other sights or buses. Staff was really friendly & accommodating. No problem there. In comparison to so many other hostels, La Posada is still in development. "Building the plane while flying." (What I saw may have been "expansion." They were constructing/ adding/ renovating a new room & bathroom in t/cabana.) I was in one of t/ outside rooms and t/ floor was raggedy, dirty indoor/outdoor carpet. & no toilet paper in bathrooms. Ugh.
