Facilities were okay except unsafe fire pit that almost burned me - when I spoke to the manager about it he charged me a fee because the fire jumped from the pit. I later heard this isn’t the first time this happened and the whole situation seemed unsafe and I wasn’t sure why I had to pay for something that has happened more then once and seems to be a safety concern shouldn’t be my responsibility. The owner was also really rude to me because I had a tab at the hostel open that he told me he preferred to wait for cash for. I didn’t have cash for several days and he treated me like a criminal saying that I didn’t pay when HE was the one who asked me to wait to pay when I have cash because that’s the payment method he “prefers”.
