I liked the place but the bad review is because you can’t really sleep in the morning because they start cleaning the rooms really early. Woke up by a cleaner coming in making noise at 8:30 which I thought was quite bad. Also they say that there’s a 24h reception but when I came back a bit after midnight there was no one there and the door was locked. Had to ring the bell until someone woke up and came to let me in.

wonderful hostel! the owner is very responsive on whatsapp and if ypu need something he will organise it immediately (f.e. tioletpaper or a towl). the internet connection works perfectly - if u connect with the right (there are plenty, for each floor one). the owner was really helpful in planning tours, also organised the santa cruz with him and everything was just perfect. will definitely come again.

OVERCHARGED. Booked through hostel world and paid the deposit prior to arrival. the property then recharged us the deposit on check out. We showed receipts and explained however they basically wouldn’t take no for an answer. When we arrived our room we booked wasn’t available, disorganised and chaotic. Basic hostel other than that nil atmosphere. No one around at reception ever. Would avoid to save some stress!!!!
