We had made a booking in Samarkand in Musavvir Hostel. upon reaching there, we found the room to be very cold. After we asked the person in charge, we were told that due to shortage of gas supply form the government, the heaters were not working. We were asked to turn on the AC on heater mode and wait in the cold room for 45 minutes till it warmed up. Even after waiting for almost 2 hours, the room was still cold. So we called the person in charge and told him we were checking out since we could not stay in the cold room for two days. He asked us to pay the full amount for 1 day including the advance which was paid while booking on the app. Technically, we needed to check out because of the hostel's fault. Why should we bear the charges? It is simple logic that when we are going there in winter, the room should be equipped with heaters. How the hostel does it, is their problem. Why should I bear the charges for their fault?
