The neighborhood where the hostel is located seemed pretty safe ( Cidade Baixa ) It was located just one block away from the main road in this area so pretty easy to take the public bus to return from the historic center back to Cidade Baixa. The owners of the hostel are two brothers and their mom who is always around to help. She was very nice and gave me good tips to do some shopping at the nearby supermarket and travels to Gramado. I could improve my Portuguese with them. Muito obrigado

Very dirty. Creaking beds. To few toilets to the amount of beds.
