it's really cheap for what it is, but it's about to fall apart/falling apart. You're in the cloud forest so its damp, but there's no cleaning for mould, so your rooms are covered. if anyone from the hostel is reading this, please just use some white vinegar! The kitchen doesn't have dish racks so it's a mess to dry your dishes. the sink in our room (a private one) wasn't attached to the wall, the shower tubes are exposed and the whole room doesn't have any hooks for your damp clothes.

Tried two showers in the hostel and both were freezing - we were told they would be ‘lukewarm’. Hostel messed up our booking so we had to move rooms and were told we wouldn’t be together despite being under one booking. Hostel locks are all the same code and the doors do not lock/unlock properly. No plugs by beds so had to charge using portable chargers the whole time. The room smelt of damp and was mouldy as well as there being mould in the bathroom sink. Avoid at all costs
