Cleanest hostel I’ve ever stayed in. Location was amazing next to some bars and restaurants and beautiful views of Matera. Not very social at all, the hostel was really quiet. Beds were super comfy and the bathrooms were clean. Only downside was that there isn’t a kitchen, although there was a fridge and a microwave you could use. AMAZING AIRCON!

This hostel is situated in such a stunning location in a truly unique city. It's connected to a hotel which means, although, the breakfast is expensive, it's an excellent selection, the best breakfasts I had in Italy, which normally has granita or a pastry with coffee. The staff are wonderful and I met lovely people! The dorms are very comfortable with powerful aircon and great bathrooms! The only problems was the damp in the bathrooms and the lack of proper kitchen facilities or water refil tap
