Stayed for two nights mid-March. We weren't given the room type we'd booked, and were told the hostel was full so they couldn't move us. There's some disrepair - shower head fell off for instance. The grounds/pool/bar are beautiful, and it's a really relaxed vibe. It's not safe to walk the road down to the oasis, so you have to take a tuk tuk for 5sol each way. The clubs nearby are loud until the morning, but a pair of earplugs would be sufficient if you're a light sleeper. Food/drinks are good.

we booked a couple of extra nights because the hostel was so nice. nice pool with chill out area around. room was clean, big and modern, whole place looks great. not right in huacacina, so prepared to walk 10/15 mins to got here but we preferred that
