Wow! We really had the best time at Shambala. Hosts Charelle and Nina made us feel incredibly welcome and at home. Our plan was to stay only 1 night, but because of the warm atmosphere & family feeling we stayed 4 nights. Breakfast served with a smile. Relaxing yoga given by Charelle. Pisco sour workshop and tour with Nina. Possibility to arrange sandboarding with pickup at the hostel. Really big kitchen & living room with tv and couch to chill all together. Can’t wait to come back someday!

I think it’s my first 10 star review, because im really critical, but I just loved it! Free yoga classes in the morning, really great, free breakfast (bread, eggs, butter, jam, tea or coffee), a free tour to a museum, a free pisco spur class - and on top of that a cooperation with the Viajero hostel that has a pool! The staff was so friendly, the hostel was clean and comfortable and the beds are very private. I got a free upgrade from the 10 bed dorm to the 6 bed dorm btw.
