Wabi Hostel

Stains on everything from towels, beds, sheets, walls, furniture etc. Washrooms are terrible. one toilet works barely, showers with no hot water. Washrooms are small and hard to use or move around.

Avoid at all costs. Run down vibes, rooms are dirty and reek of sweat and feet. Showers and toilets barely work and are also not cleaned at all. The so-called included breakfast felt like food left over at a college bachelor frat house. I had a few nights booked but left after one sleepless night. Guests are shown to their room at 4am, opening curtains, etc. The vibe feels uncomfortable and unsafe (especially for women!! Most guests were old men and the staff was making inappropriate jokes)

This hostel was amazing value for the money. The staff were welcoming and incredibly responsive to any needs. The basics were all there—everything I needed was provided. But what really stood out was the atmosphere: I genuinely felt like part of an extended family. During my nearly month-long stay, I was surrounded by wonderful people who made the experience special. The combination of comfort, community, and affordability makes this a standout choice for anyone visiting Mexico.
