really excellent hostel, probably the coolest I've been to in terms of setting. if you like nature and hiking it's really amazing. however it rained the whole time I was there as it's in a kind of microclimate. I think the canyon hike is supposed to be very sunny and no rain, but I didn't know about it so keep it in mind when you go and it's rainy

Pros: the view when it stops raining, wildlife, hot shower & breakfast Cons: it was freezing & damp, my clothes smelled & were damp for days after. A previous guests dirty socks were on my bed. My bed was 5 inches from the door which jammed when opened, and there was a window behind my head where a bright light shone in all night. The dinner food is very basic & small portions (you can’t get food anywhere else & minimal cooking facilities). No lockers. Long hike up. I left a night early
