A great stay at Metro Adventurers! note- i am an experienced traveller and have stayed at A LOT of hostels. So my guage is different than beginning travellers. My room was spacious, had curtains, and was reliably cleaned each morning. The location was close to so many grocery stores and i was literally waking up to see the Skytower in Auckland each morning! So cool! Almost all the staff here are volunteers, 95% of them are quite helpful and attentive. A few are distracted but will still help

I thought this place was alright for a couple of nights, but it needs a bit of TLC. It has the potential to be really nice, but it just needs a little bit of upkeep. It’s in a good location and the staff are nice, but the atmosphere is a bit flat and it could do with a deep clean. Otherwise it’s alright, and for the price I paid to stay 2 nights in Auckland, there are much worse places you could go
