The Neighbors Hostel

Very nice here!!! June is pretty nice to us!!! I like her, and her hostel. It's in the middle of the old town, very convenient to walk around and have the local food!! June recommend us lots and we have a good time there! I do not forget that night we were on the monkey hill, and see the beautiful old town at night!!! And we met lots friends there, and shared something about the trip and each culture, so fun!!! Thanks June!! Love you!

Very friendly staff. as for hygiene, it was a nightmare. The two toilets are used both by hostel residents and cafe visitors. While hostellers are not allowed to use footwear in the premises, I have seen cafe users enter with shoes. Further, it is a huge concern especially for women (UTI!) to share toilets with so many people. There should be separate toilets for men and women, not open to cafe visitors. Room was dirty when I checked in, wasn’t cleaned through my entire stay.

The staff and the cafe underneath were lovely, they served amazing food. However the beds were rock hard, and the bathrooms where the same ones used for the restaurant, very open. We left early since we had difficulty sleeping on the beds and the overall atmosphere of the room. If you stay here only for a day or 2 not for a full week.
