Not the worst location if you just want access to a beach and a surf school but near nothing at all. I got in at 9pm and literally no food or even pedidoya within a 30 min walk. Room was basic, cramped, but AC did work really well. Bathrooms and showers were old but worked. Staff kinda rude. Overall I was offered to extend a day but declined and went into the peninsula to pay more for a better room. Price was decent though.

We were disappointed with our stay. The previous night we had stayed in a youth hostel that was in far better condition than this 'boutique' hostel. The shared bathroom by the private rooms was in an unclean state and had lots of mould growing. Additionally, in the bedroom there was wood rot, large spiders and lots of hair from previous guest. In fact the window didn't full close because of the wood rot and didn't lock so swung open whilst we were out, far from secure. Good kitchen & social area

Great location - 50 mins walk to centre/5mins to the beach! 🏝️ Good atmosphere - dorm are located around the common area so gets noisy in evening if trying to sleep… Kitchen is great for basic cooking - might be down to our experience but we could barely ever fit any food in the fridge! It was always so full! Bedroom are clean and tidy with good, secure lockers! There is only two toilets for the whole hostel and four shared showers… which both could do with a clean!
